DevSecOps Platform Engineer (Mid)

Overview:

Join a dynamic team as a DevSecOps Platform Engineer, responsible for developing, managing, and securing cutting-edge container platforms that leverage cloud capabilities. Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in DevOps or 5 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree

Clearance:

• TS/SCI clearance required

Onsite Requirements:

• This position may require onsite presence based on project needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain container management software to support enterprise applications
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Implement security best practices for containerized solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and reliable cloud-native solutions
• Evaluate and mitigate container vulnerabilities
• Manage monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack

Required Skills:

• 4 years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
• 2 years of experience automating, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes in production
• 2 years deploying applications into Kubernetes
• 1 years working with a cloud provider, preferably AWS
• Experience with enterprise cloud-native solutions and complex problem-solving
• Familiarity with Linux and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Configuration as Code tools like Ansible
• Knowledge of container security concepts and best practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack for monitoring and logging
• Knowledge of evaluating and mitigating container vulnerabilities
• Additional certifications such as DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III
