Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concierge Billing Specialist to join a growing rehabilitation and wellness practice in Boca Raton. This role is ideal for a healthcare billing professional who thrives in a patient-centered environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate financial operations.

The Concierge Billing Specialist will oversee patient billing, account management, payment processing, and financial communications while supporting a high-touch patient experience. The ideal candidate will combine strong medical billing knowledge with professionalism, discretion, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Process medical billing, payment posting, and account reconciliation
• Communicate with patients regarding billing questions, balances, and pricing
• Maintain accurate patient financial records and supporting documentation
• Manage private-pay and concierge patient accounts
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
• Support front-office administrative functions as needed
• Assist with account management and financial reporting
• Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality
• Work occasional weekends as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
• Experience within physical therapy, rehabilitation, wellness, or healthcare settings preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience using QuickBooks
• Minimum 4 years of experience using Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of billing processes, payment posting, and account management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with physical therapy billing procedures
• Experience supporting private-pay or concierge healthcare services
• Background working with high-touch client populations
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Schedule

Primarily Monday-Friday; occasional weekend availability may be required
