Job Overview – Vice President, Healthcare Partnerships

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Vice President, Healthcare Partnerships in Queens, NY for our client, supporting provider partnerships, healthcare operations, business growth, and strategic relationship management. This executive leadership role will drive partnership expansion while overseeing operational performance, financial outcomes, and partner success across a growing healthcare network. The ideal candidate has healthcare operations experience, business development expertise, and a strong background in managed care, care management, or value-based healthcare.
Responsibilities as the Vice President, Healthcare Partnerships:
- Partnership Development: Develop and expand strategic relationships with healthcare providers, physician practices, and community healthcare organizations to support business growth initiatives.
- Business Growth: Identify new partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements, and maintain a strong pipeline to achieve organizational growth objectives.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee healthcare partnership operations, ensuring service quality, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and successful program execution.
- Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, manage revenue and profitability goals, and identify opportunities to improve operational and financial outcomes.
- Performance Optimization: Establish performance metrics, evaluate partnership effectiveness, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the network.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop cross-functional teams while collaborating with clinical, operational, compliance, finance, and executive leadership stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Vice President, Healthcare Partnerships:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or Public Health is required (Master's degree is strongly preferred).
- Experience: 7–10 years of progressive healthcare operations experience is required, including experience in partnerships, business development, managed care, care management, or value-based care.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, value-based care models, Medicaid managed care programs, care management services, and healthcare partnership strategies is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with healthcare performance reporting, operational analytics, financial management, business planning, and partnership management is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, relationship-building, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success managing complex healthcare partnerships are required.
