Job Summary
The School Psychologist shall provide psychological services consistent with relevant state and federal special education laws and National Association of School Psychologist (NASP) Principles for Professional Ethics. Assesses referred students with apparent exceptional needs. Consults and collaborates with parents, school staff, and outside personnel regarding mental health, behavioral and educational concerns, including prevention-oriented approaches and implementation of Behavior Management Plans. This position is based in the District Office in Taft, CA, serving students at all school sites.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: • Bachelor's Degree • Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology (or eligibility) Experience: • Must have experience in the preparation for and participation in Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) meetings, including proper forms and procedures. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.

- Letter of Introduction (letter of interest)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) letters from within last three (3) years)
