Job Summary

Under the supervision of the site Principal, utilizes substitute plans from the teacher of record to implement instruction program in accord with acceptable principals of learning and human growth and development. Substitute assignments may be in general education or special education, depending on assignment accepted. Serves students in grades PreK-8 in Taft, CA.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: • Must possess a valid California teaching credential or valid substitute permit. • Must be active on the county-wide substitute list. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
