Job Summary

******2026-2027 School Year ******* The single subject Music classroom teacher, under the supervision of the principal, plans and implements an instructional program in accordance with acceptable principals of learning and human growth and development. This position serves students in grades TK-3rd and is located Taft, CA.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: • Bachelor’s degree required. • Must possess (or be eligible for) a California credential authorizing teaching in the subject of Music as determined by assignment. Experience: • Previous teaching experience or successful student teaching. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
