Job Summary

******2026-2027 School Year ******* The single subject, ELA classroom teacher, under the supervision of the Principal, plans and implements an instructional program in accordance with acceptable principals of learning and human growth and development. This position serves students in 8th grade located at Lincoln Jr. High School in Taft, CA.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: • Bachelor’s degree required. • Must possess (or be eligible for) a California credential authorizing teaching Single Subject, ELA as determined by assignment. Experience: • Previous teaching experience or successful student teaching. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
