What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fun Squad Member position at Tacoma Rainiers?
A member of the Tacoma Rainiers Fun Squad must be a confident, outgoing individual who works well with others and can engage with fans of all ages. They must be unafraid to get silly and to do anything it takes to put on a great show for Rainiers fans.
Fun Squad members must be able follow instructions and think quickly in a live performance environment. Ideal applicants for this position should have a lively personality, tons of energy, and a passion for having fun.

This position may include opportunities in the following areas:
- Represent the Tacoma Rainiers at home games & at a wide range of events throughout the Puget Sound area
- Partner with team mascots to put on exciting in game entertainment for fans
- Meet and greet fans prior to, during, and after events
- Perform duties in a respectful manner deemed acceptable according to the team standards
- Act as a Mascot Handler at community appearances as needed
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be able to perform in front of large crowds
- Available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Punctuality is mandatory
- Understanding of baseball rules & game format
- Take and follow direction of Game Entertainment Coordinator
- Memorization of in between inning skits & scripts
- Be able to maintain uniform cleanliness & well-being
- Performance/dance background a plus, but not required
- Confidence & abundance of energy
- Passion for putting on a show
