Job Overview:
As a nationwide recruiter, one of our Clients is in need of "Mobile Crane" Field Service Technicians, in northwestern North Dakota. This is a full-time, direct hire positions in this specific geographic area - with a location premium, so relocation assistance is available and a $10,000 sign-on bonus (awarded after you start), is available for the right fit!
Note: This specific opportunity is for a Field Service Tech role - with at least 5 years of experience - so you drive your truck home everyday.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience with these crane systems: knuckle booms, service truck cranes, boom truck cranes
- Experience with crane brands similar to: Elliott, Terex, Manitex, National, Tadano, Grove, Liebherr, Link-belt, Palfinger, Fassi, Cormach, Socage, Versalift, Stellar, Auto Crane, IMT, LiftMoore, etc. [just to name a few]
- Able to read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics
- Self-motivated; works well with management and customers
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
Primary Duties:
- Repair/maintain heavy-duty trucks, mobile cranes, service truck cranes, and railroad equipment
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various systems, primarily of mobile cranes
- Conduct preventive maintenance and upgrades, primarily of mobile cranes
- Overhaul major components and systems
- Ensure vehicle compliance and performance
- Manage equipment, records, and inventory
- Control costs and stay updated on technical knowledge
- Collaborate with management on account strategies
- Handle customer inquiries and monitor satisfaction
- Coordinate across departments for comprehensive service
