Are you an experienced engineering leader looking to make an impact with a growing manufacturer? We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a talented engineering team while driving innovation, quality, and continuous improvement in the design and delivery of complex industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering Department.
- Manage engineering priorities, resources, and project workloads.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable industry standards.
- Partner with Sales, Project Management, Production, Procurement, and Installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement, value engineering, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support technical problem-solving, process improvements, and engineering best practices.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, heavy equipment, structural steel, industrial equipment, or a related industry.
- 2 years of engineering leadership or management experience.
- Experience leading engineering teams across multiple projects.
- PE license preferred; SE license is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites and project locations.
