Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Genesys IVR Tech Lead with over 10 years of experience in contact center technologies to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex IVR applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Genesys Cloud (PureCloud) architecture, call flow design, and API integrations. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can create secure flows, implement bots, and ensure best practices in call flow design and routing.
We are seeking a seasoned Genesys IVR Tech Lead with over 10 years of experience in contact center technologies to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex IVR applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Genesys Cloud (PureCloud) architecture, call flow design, and API integrations. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can create secure flows, implement bots, and ensure best practices in call flow design and routing.
Essential Skills:
- 10 Years of Experience: Proven experience in Contact Center engineering and telephony platforms, with a focus on Genesys.
- Core Genesys Knowledge: Strong, hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud (PureCloud), Architect flows, and CTI.
- IVR Design & Development: Deep expertise in IVR/ACD scripting, Architect flows, and complex call routing.
- Secure Flows & Bots: Experience developing secure IVR flows, including PCI-compliant flows and AI-powered voice bots.
- API Proficiency: Strong understanding and experience with REST/SOAP APIs, including handling JSON/XML payloads for backend integration.
- Local Candidate: Must be located in or willing to commute to Cary, NC or Clark Summit, PA.

Desirable Skills:
- Genesys Certified Professional or Specialist.
- Experience with Genesys Cloud CX migrations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or VXML.
- Hands-on experience with data actions and third-party CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IVR applications, including complex inbound/outbound flows, using Genesys Cloud Architect.
- Lead the integration of IVR solutions with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and backend systems.
- Configure voice bots and NLU (Natural Language Understanding) capabilities.
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive data within IVR flows (Secure Flow).
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot complex CTI and Routing issues in a high-demand, 24/7 environment.
