JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Guidewire Jutro Tech Lead is responsible for building and enhancing modern digital insurance experiences using Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform JDP
The role focuses on developing scalable cloud-native UI components and micro-frontends integrated with Guidewire InsuranceSuite PolicyCenter ClaimCenter BillingCenter via Guidewire Cloud and Edge APIs
Jutro Digital Development
Design and develop digital experiences using Guidewire Jutro JDP for
Customer portals
Producer Agent portals
FNOL and selfservice journeys
Build microfrontend UI components using Jutro SDKs and libraries
UI FrontEnd Engineering
Develop responsive accessible frontend solutions using
React preferred or Angular
Reusable component libraries
Modern statemanagement patterns
Apply UX best practices accessibility WCAG and performance optimization
Guidewire Integration
Integrate Jutro applications with Guidewire core systems using
Guidewire Cloud Edge APIs
REST services exposed by PolicyCenter ClaimCenter
Support realtime data flows between digital frontends and Guidewire backend services
AMS Enhancement Support
Provide L2L3 support for digital applications built on Jutro
Triage and resolve UIAPI issues
Support production fixes and minor enhancements
Participate in backlog grooming sprint planning and estimations
Technical Skills
Hands on experience with Guidewire Jutro JDP
Strong frontend development skills in
React preferred or Angular
JavaScript TypeScript
Experience integrating UI layers with REST APIs and backend systems
Guidewire Insurance Knowledge
Working knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite PolicyCenter ClaimCenter preferred
Familiarity with insurance digital journeys such as
Quote Buy
FNOL
Policy servicing
Claims selfservice
Experience with
Guidewire Digital CustomerEngage ProducerEngage
Cloudnative and microfrontend architectures
GenAIassisted development tools e.g GitHub Copilot
Guidewire Jutro or Digital certifications if available"
