Robotics - Actin Development Engineer
Location: Houston, TX - Onsite
Duration: 6 months
- Must have 6 to 7 years of strong Angular experience.
- Must have hands-on working Knowledge of Actin
- Must have hands-on working Knowledge of Energid robotic control software -
- Proficiency/knowledge in programming languages such as Python, C , and ROS.
- Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with sensors used in oil & gas robotics (e.g., ultrasonic, inductive proximity, LiDAR,
- pressure).
- Ability to work in field conditions and travel to remote sites as needed.
- Hands-on Knowledge of ROS Industrial 2.0, RViz, MoveIt, etc.
- Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic systems tailored for oil & gas drilling and pipe-handling applications.
- Integrate sensors and control systems for autonomous drilling and pipe-handling, manipulation,
- and data acquisition.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype and test robotic control solutions for drilling and
- pipe-handling operations.
- Develop software for real-time control, telemetry, and remote operation of robotic platforms.
- Conduct field trials and validation tests in simulated and live oil & gas environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Analyze performance data and optimize robotic systems for safety, reliability and efficiency.
- Document engineering processes, test results, and system configurations.
