- Serve as the lead paralegal on complex business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Assist with all phases of litigation, including fact investigation, document collection, review, analysis, production, and e-discovery.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, court filings, case summaries, and other litigation documents.
- Coordinate and organize depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, including exhibit preparation and trial binders.
- Manage case files, document databases, chronologies, production logs, and litigation support systems.
- Conduct factual and legal research and assist with witness and client interviews.
- Track litigation deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure compliance with court, agency, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, vendors, courts, and regulatory agencies throughout the litigation process.
- Attend hearings, trials, and other proceedings as needed, utilizing trial presentation and litigation support software.
- Assist with trial preparation through post-matter file management, including records retention and file closure.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
- 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience required; experience supporting business litigation matters is preferred.
- Prior experience with financial services litigation, including FINRA, SEC, or other regulatory matters, is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with e-discovery platforms, litigation support software, and trial presentation tools.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery, court filings, evidence, and applicable court and agency rules.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strict confidentiality.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
