Tax Advisory Manager (Big 4 | C-Corp OR M&A Focus)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Advisory Manager with a strong background in C-Corporation taxation and/or M&A tax. This role is ideal for a Big 4–trained professional looking to transition into a dynamic advisory environment, working closely with clients on complex tax planning, structuring, and transaction support.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on federal and state tax implications related to corporate structures, reorganizations, and transactions
- Lead and support M&A tax due diligence, including buy-side and sell-side engagements
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate restructurings
- Review and analyze C-Corp tax provisions, filings, and compliance matters
- Provide technical guidance on IRC regulations, tax law changes, and emerging issues
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and deal teams
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on tax strategy
- Mentor junior staff and review work for accuracy and completeness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred)
- 2 years of relevant tax experience, with Big 4 or large public accounting firm background required
- Deep experience in C-Corp taxation and/or M&A tax
- Strong understanding of corporate tax compliance, ASC 740, and/or ASC 382 transaction structuring
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client-facing skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience with private equity-backed transactions
- Exposure to international tax considerations in M&A
- Familiarity with tax modeling and structuring tools

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
