Job Summary
A local Johnson County company in real growth mode seeks an experienced "hands-on" Controller to handle all the accounting through financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of corporate accounting practices. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to provide insights into business performance
- Monitor daily cash balances
- Work closely with the outside CPA firm and assist them with annual audit and tax process
- Prepare and assist with processing payroll and tax reporting
- Work closely with upper management on financial budgets and forecasts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a must
- Demonstrated expertise in account analysis and general ledger reconciliation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
