OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing company in Overland Park. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing key accounting functions and preparing financial reports.DutiesOversee general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reportsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and adherence to deadlines.Ensure timely payment of all company bills, maintaining accurate records and tracking due dates.Provide support in preparing and filing taxes, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and deadlines.Work closely with the external CFO to effectively close the financial books at the end of each periodExperience5 years of experience as a Senior AccountantBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar toolsStrong Microsoft Excel skillsCompany DescriptionSynergy Search Group and Staffing Services are committed to excellence in quality recruiting and reliable service to our candidates and the clients we serve.
