Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant located in Scottsdale, AZ. A strong Medical Assistant should demonstrate the ability to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced primary care setting. Key responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, assisting with basic procedures and injections, preparing exam rooms, and ensuring accurate charting within the EMR system. Ideal candidates are organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and patient care. They should also be comfortable handling front office tasks as needed, including scheduling, answering phones, and coordinating referrals, while communicating effectively with providers and team members.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care
- Solid understanding of Medical Terminology
- Experience working in a Medical Office setting
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate Medical Records
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or equivalent
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
