Summary: An established power systems and marine/industrial services company is looking to hire a Vice President of Human Resources to provide clear leadership, implement scalable systems, and spearhead organizational transformation within a multi-site industrial services company following a merger. The company provides engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul services across the marine, energy, industrial, and defense sectors nationwide. Responsibilities: * Drive enterprise-wide HR initiatives that support business growth, operational efficiency, and cultural cohesion. * Collaborate directly with the CEO on organizational structure, executive alignment, and leadership development. * Lead Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) efforts and post-merger integration, including cultural alignment and change management strategies. * Manage HRIS, payroll, benefits, compliance, HR operations, and workforce analytics to ensure accuracy and operational effectiveness. * Design and implement scalable recruitment strategies tailored to marine, power generation, and industrial services operations. * Create and oversee succession planning and leadership development programs to strengthen talent pipelines. * Direct compensation strategy linked to EBITDA, productivity, and cost-to-serve metrics. * Enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention across multiple sites. * Ensure performance and compensation systems are transparent, equitable, and well-communicated. * Work closely with Operations, Finance, and regional leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives. Requirements: * 10 years of progressive experience in HR or business leadership roles. * 5 years in a senior or executive HR position within a private equity-backed organization, or a similarly fast-paced environment involving M&A, post-merger integration, or mid-market transformations (excluding startup-only experience). * Bachelor"s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field is highly preferred. * SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR is highly preferred. * Proven experience supporting field operations or service-oriented organizations is desired. * Prior experience driving HR modernization, implementing workforce systems, or leading digital transformation initiatives. * Track record of aligning HR strategy with EBITDA, performance metrics, and overall business operating rhythms. * Experience supporting and scaling organizations with revenues between $250M and $500M. * Hands-on experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), including post-merger integration and organizational redesign. * Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations with rapid decision-making and execution. * Strong proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paycom, UKG, Paylocity, or equivalent). * Executive presence with the ability to influence CEOs, boards, and private equity stakeholders.
Salary : $175,000 - $215,000
