Manufacturing Supervisor
We are partnering with a specialized healthcare manufacturer focused on high-quality pharmaceutical products and sterile compounding solutions, supporting both individual patients and healthcare providers.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee daily production activities within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with cGMP standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, processes, and priorities while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities including compounding, filling, packaging, labeling, and material preparation
- Assign tasks, monitor workflow progress, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines
- Maintain compliance with cGMP, Good Documentation Practices, and all regulatory expectations
- Conduct routine floor walkthroughs, support internal and external audits, and ensure inspection-readiness
- Troubleshoot equipment or process issues and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and calibrations
- Lead, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance, development, and engagement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and safety
- Oversee proper handling of hazardous materials and uphold EHS standards
- Collaborate on deviations, CAPAs, and process investigations as a manufacturing subject matter expert
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, including aseptic processing
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a GMP-regulated environment
- Strong understanding of FDA, cGMP, and 21 CFR Parts 210/211 regulations
- Experience with ERP, MES/EBR, LIMS, or similar manufacturing systems
- Ability to aseptically gown and maintain qualification
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance management systems such as ADP
- Background in equipment troubleshooting, validation, or process improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting GMP inspections or internal audits
- Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation accuracy
