Our client is looking for a CAD Operator in Valencia, PA
The CAD Operator plays a crucial role in transforming architectural concepts-whether derived from drawings, renderings, isometric sketches, or hand sketches-into manufacturable designs. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure that the customer's vision is realized in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. The CAD Operator reports directly to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in transition meetings with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager to review project specifics.
- Collaborate with the Estimator, Project Manager, and Engineering Manager to align customer requirements with profitability goals.
- Develop detailed models for each project item, adhering to best practices in manufacturing and drawing formats.
- Submit drawings to the Engineering Manager for approval.
- Revise submittal drawings as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
- Prepare laser cut sheets, bend drawings or codes, tubing cut lists, and assembly drawings for new - projects; submit these to the Engineering Manager.
- Provide timely responses to manufacturing queries.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support company operations.
Requirements:
- Solidworks or Inventor training or experience

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
