We’re partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization in Southern NJ. They’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor who can mentor a team, drive accountability, and play a key role in keeping equipment, processes, and performance on track.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on uptime, efficiency, and overall operations, while working closely with both maintenance and production to ensure issues are handled safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and delegate day-to-day maintenance activities while promoting a safe work environment
• Work hands-on with the team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues and recommend improvements to equipment and processes
• Schedule maintenance work to align with established service guidelines
• Supervise and manage outside contractors in line with company standards
• Audit completed work to ensure quality and proper execution
• Drive performance to meet and exceed downtime targets
• Oversee and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness (5S standards)
• Conduct performance reviews and address team development and performance issues
• Monitor tools and materials to support efficient repairs
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and mentoring
• Ensure 24/7 coverage and provide after-hours support as needed
• Manage timekeeping and approve hours for payroll
Requirements:
• Industrial Trade Certification with strong written and verbal English skills
• 10 years in an industrial environment
• 3 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production-related software
• Working knowledge of OHSA regulations and compliance
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma (preferred)
• Experience working with CMMS systems for work orders and PM scheduling (preferred)
