Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.

- The Engagement Center's Data Intake Specialist will support the patient journey team by verifying various data sources and transcribing the information into the CEC's customer relationship management system.
- The Data Intake Specialist role is critical to start the process of helping patients gain access to our products and programs.
- Working under the Team Lead, Case Management, the Intake Specialist is responsible for data entry of faxed information such as Start Forms, insurance cards, and other information to help enroll a patient in services.
- Review source documents such as faxed patient service request forms
- Accurate and timely data entry of source documents (within key performance indicators)
- Postal mail, email, or other source document intake, review and processing
- Review source documents for Potential Adverse Event identification and reporting
- Follows quality control processes to ensure data integrity; flags trends and communicates in-sights with supervisor
- Participates in activities that improve department operations and/or support to the department for quality improvements

- Training for from 8am-5pm and will be about 4-6 weeks (Remote).
- Shift hours - 8am-5pm (1 week onsite, 3 weeks offsite).
- Education: High school diploma required
- 1-2 years of general office experience or equivalent training
- Minimum of 6 months of data entry/computer experience in an office or healthcare related environment
- Network computer system and personal computer proficiency; office copier, scanner, FAX machine, miscellaneous office equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Outlook and basic MS Office tools (Word)
- Post-secondary education (certificate program, Associate's degree)
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and handling Protected Health Information
- Medical office experience and familiarity with medical terminology
