Position Overview
Working collaboratively with physicians, the NP/PA will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients experiencing chronic pain conditions. The provider will develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, provide education, and help improve quality of life through evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Manage follow-up visits and ongoing patient care
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies
- Educate patients regarding treatment options and medication management
- Coordinate care with physicians and referring providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in team meetings and quality initiatives
- Support continuity of care across clinical locations when needed
Required
- Active Colorado NP or PA License (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Prescriptive Authority in Colorado, including the ability to prescribe controlled substances
- DEA License (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- BLS Certification (or obtain within 3 months)
- ACLS Certification (or obtain within 3 months)
- Experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, PM&R, Neurology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care
- Strong communication and patient relationship skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Interest in learning and professional growth
