Key Responsibilities
Paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Draft and file litigation documents with the court in coordination with attorneys
- Manage all aspects of discovery including initial and supplemental disclosures
- Assist attorneys with Interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Calendar and manage court schedules and internal case-related deadlines
- Maintain pleadings and discovery index
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel's staff
- Prepare case files for trial including all required pretrial filing
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience with a personal injury background
- Prior experience in a personal injury or insurance defense firm strongly preferred
- Comfortable handling and interpreting medical records
- Strong drafting skills for litigation and discovery documents
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and case management software (e.g., Needles)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter, intelligent, and self-motivated
