- Seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, developing innovative products, and taking ownership of projects from initial concept through production release.
- The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key role in developing and improving automotive lifting equipment while working closely with manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and service teams.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and design skills, attention to detail, creativity, and a practical approach to engineering solutions.
- Design and develop new products and product improvements.
- Lead engineering projects from initial concept through production release.
- Perform stress analysis, engineering calculations, and design validations.
- Create, update, and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Support product certification testing and regulatory compliance activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and service teams to develop effective product solutions.
- Develop customized engineering solutions based on unique customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve product performance, quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Provide engineering support throughout the product development and production process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of next-generation products.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- 5 years of professional experience as a Design Engineer.
- At least 3 years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with capital equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong CAD design experience; Autodesk Inventor experience is preferred.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering calculations and stress analysis.
- Demonstrated experience developing products from concept through production release.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience with hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of or experience with electrical engineering principles and systems.
- Experience with automotive equipment, lifting systems, or other capital equipment is a plus.

Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
