What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labor Law Attorney position at Synectics Inc.?
We are seeking an experienced attorney with strong knowledge of New York Labor Law matters, including Sections 240, 241, 200, and related construction accident litigation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling complex labor law cases from inception through resolution and be comfortable managing a busy caseload independently.

- Handle New York Labor Law and construction accident matters, including claims involving Labor Law
- 240, 241, and 200
- Manage cases from intake through settlement, trial, or resolution
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and motion practice
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and legal correspondence
- Evaluate liability, damages, and litigation strategy
- Work closely with clients, experts, and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process
- Review medical records, accident reports, and construction-related documentation
- Assist with settlement negotiations and trial preparation
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active New York Bar admission
- Prior experience handling Labor Law/construction accident litigation matters
- Strong understanding of NY Labor Law
- 240, 241, and 200
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Excellent analytical, writing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
