Our challenge
We are seeking an experienced SAP EPPM & PS Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) and SAP Project Systems (PS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting project management solutions within SAP, enabling effective project planning, portfolio governance, budgeting, resource management, and project execution.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP EPPM and PS solutions.
- Configure and support SAP EPPM modules including:
- Portfolio Management
- Project Management
- Resource Management
- Financial Planning
- Dashboard & Analytics
- Configure and support SAP PS functionalities such as:Project Structures (WBS, Networks, Activities)
- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Cost Planning & Budgeting
- Revenue Planning
- Resource Management
- Project Settlement
- Design and support capital and operational project processes.
- Integrate SAP PS with SAP S/4HANA, Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), and Procurement modules.
- Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution design reviews, and user training.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements and integrations.
- Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.
