Our client, a nationally recognized consumer brand, is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager for an immediate contract opportunity. This highly visible role will partner closely with executive leadership to lead internal communications across the organization, supporting company-wide initiatives, executive messaging, town halls, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate has experience with large corporate brands, preferably in service, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or CPG, and excels at managing executive communications, cross-functional projects, and internal events. You'll be a proactive communicator, strong project manager, and hands-on problem solver who can quickly build credibility and operate with minimal direction.
Key Highlights
- Duration: on-going contract
- Pay: $45-60/hr
- Schedule: 30–40 hours/week
- Location: Los Angeles (Approximately 90% Remote)
Occasional onsite meetings in Arcadia/San Gabriel Valley, plus attendance at quarterly town halls and director meetings
What You'll Do
- Own the planning and execution of quarterly company town halls and monthly director meetings
- Coordinate invitations, agendas, presentation materials, messaging, and event logistics
- Partner closely with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure communications are delivered accurately and on schedule
- Maintain and manage the organization's internal communications calendar
- Develop, write, edit, and distribute employee communications, newsletters, announcements, and executive messaging
- Support communications initiatives for corporate employees and restaurant team members
- Serve as the go-to resource for internal communications across the organization
- Ensure messaging aligns with company objectives, voice, and leadership priorities
What You'll Bring
- 5 years of internal communications experience within large, recognizable consumer brands or enterprise organizations
- Experience supporting executive leadership and communicating with large employee populations
- Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and quickly establish trust with senior stakeholders
- Experience managing executive presentations, company meetings, and internal communication campaigns
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Writing portfolio or samples required
