What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel School Psychologist position at Symbal Education?
As a School Psychologist, you will support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development through assessments, intervention planning, and collaboration with school teams. This is an on-site role that may involve multiple school campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations (initial, triennial, and re-evaluations)
- Attend and contribute to IEP and eligibility meetings
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assist in developing BIPs
- Provide short-term counseling and behavioral intervention support
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and service providers
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with Arizona Department of Education standards and timelines
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certificate
- Ability to work independently while meeting district deadlines
- Prior experience in K–12 school settings preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
