CX Marketing Specialist

• Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid - onsite 1x month)
• Duration: 12 Months contract
• Pay Rate: $72/h

Role Overview

PG&E is seeking a Customer Experience Communications & Marketing Strategist to support high-visibility initiatives aimed at delivering best-in-class customer experiences (“10/10 experiences”).

This role will split focus across:
• Customer Experience Strategic Initiative – driving internal and external awareness
• Continuous Communications Improvement – enhancing customer-facing communications tied to billing modernization and new service connections

Key Responsibilities

• Lead internal communications strategies to increase employee awareness and engagement around customer experience initiatives
• Develop and support external communications and marketing programs
• Enhance customer-facing communications related to billing systems and field outreach initiatives
• Partner with product managers, program teams, customer contact centers, and external agencies
• Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to improve customer engagement and experience
• Use data, analytics, and customer insights (qualitative & quantitative) to inform communication strategies
• Apply storytelling and strategic messaging to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or creative strategy (corporate or agency environment)
• Experience working in a regulated industry/environment
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proven experience executing multi-channel communications campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive engagement
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies
