Position Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst role offers high visibility and partnership across the organization to drive progress in planning, reporting, and analytics. This role will focus on improving systems and tools that scale for growth, while taking ownership of operating expense metrics and reporting monthly to the Chief Financial Officer. The Senior Financial Analyst will also work closely with department leaders to ensure alignment, consistency, and support in achieving their financial goals.

- Prepare monthly reporting packages; analyze trends, drivers, and variances; and identify opportunities for improvement from both business and financial perspectives.
- Develop analytical approaches, tools, and technology to deliver financial insights and facilitate understanding of performance.
- Coordinate the planning and budgeting process, including data input, reporting, and analysis.
- Research industry trends and competitor strategies to provide insights into relative financial performance.
- Perform ad hoc analyses using data retrieved from internal financial systems and communicate findings in clear, concise presentations.
- Partner with business leads to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in processes and operations.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards to support data visualization, reporting, and decision-making.
- Perform accurate tariff calculations and ensure proper application and ongoing maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Manage pricing workbooks, including earned credits and related financial metrics, to support pricing strategies and customer agreements.
- Support accounting-related tasks as needed and as time permits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 4–10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or related fields.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with strong proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, and business operations.
- Ability to analyze business trends, identify performance drivers, and assess financial risks.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting findings to senior management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with financial data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Ability to navigate accounting and payroll systems independently to obtain data needed for analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
