Litigation Associate Attorney

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a writing-intensive litigation role, with a significant portion of time dedicated to research and drafting.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and support case strategy development
- Manage discovery and assist with depositions
- Appear in court for hearings and procedural matters
- Support trial preparation and overall case execution
- Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Manage assigned matters and move cases forward efficiently
Approximately 80% of the role involves research and writing.
What They’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of civil litigation experience
- Experience in state court; federal court experience preferred
- Strong legal research and writing skills (essential for success in this role)
- Ability to manage work independently while collaborating with a team
- Professional judgment, attention to detail, and sound analytical ability
- Willingness to work across matters and contribute to a shared team workload
- Wisconsin Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly)
