A well-established law firm in the Madison area is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its growing private client group. This is an opportunity to step into a collaborative team with a strong platform and consistent workflow, advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning matters.
Responsibilities:
- Advise individuals and families on estate planning, wealth transfer, and tax-efficient strategies
- Draft and implement estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related documents
- Support advanced planning techniques such as GRATs, SLATs, and other wealth transfer structures
- Handle trust and estate administration matters
- Work closely with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in trusts & estates or private client work
- Experience with estate planning and/or trust administration
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Interest in working with high-net-worth individuals and families
- Wisconsin bar admission (or ability to waive in)
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
