MIG Welder

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level MIG Welder to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates with at least 6 months of welding experience who are looking to grow their skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials and components

·        Operate and maintain different types of welding equipment

·        Manually guide welding gun along weld lines, maintaining proper arc length and speed

·        Ensure proper weld depth and bead quality by monitoring metal color, weld sound, and molten puddle size

·        Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards

·        Accurately track and report production quantities

·        Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines

Qualifications:

·        Minimum 6 months of MIG welding experience required

·        Familiarity with various welding tools and equipment

·        Ability to read a tape measure accurately

·        Basic shop math skills, including converting decimals to fractions

·        Strong attention to detail and quality

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
