Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and processing outgoing shipments while ensuring accuracy, safety, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule- 8:30am-5pm
Pay: $20/hour (WEEKLY PAY)
Key Responsibilities
- Pull, package, and prepare orders for shipment
- Print and apply shipping labels; ensure accurate documentation of all outgoing shipments
- Prepare skids and packaging to ensure safe transport and product protection
- Label shipments with customer information, handling instructions, and destination details
- Complete shipping paperwork and enter data into computer systems
- Follow shipping orders, instructions, and applicable regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in safety programs, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer deadlines are met
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse or production experience preferred
- Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification preferred
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with exposure to noise and moving equipment
- Required use of PPE such as steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
- Overtime, including extended shifts and weekends, may be required based on business needs
