Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm M-F - Possibly leave a bit later depending on business needs.
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for managing workflows, driving productivity, and ensuring team performance meets key operational goals. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes safety, and is focused on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes
- Monitor team productivity and ensure performance meets or exceeds KPIs
- Analyze operational data and provide performance reporting
- Enforce safety policies and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational goals
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and service levels
- Maintain accurate records of labor, inventory, and operational metrics
- Promote a positive team environment through coaching, communication, and accountability
Qualifications:
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and operational documents
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- E-commerce or high-volume distribution experience preferred
Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution leadership
- Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of Lean processes (5S, Six Sigma preferred)
- Strong background in safety practices and material handling equipment
- Experience with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
