SCF is growing — and we’re looking for a Customer Service Representative who can deliver excellence for our customers while helping strengthen our high-performance, system-led culture.
About the Role
As an SCF Customer Service Representative, you will provide end-to-end account management across a portfolio of small, medium, and large customers. You will play a key role in upholding our Customer Promise, maintaining our standards, and supporting our wider Customer Service Team to deliver industry-leading service.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Promise & Communication Excellence
- Respond to all customer tickets within 60 minutes with either an answer or a time-bound commitment.
- Build strong relationships across all levels through proactive, clear, structured communication.
- Maintain proactive customer meeting schedules and record all meetings using SCF systems and standards.
Account Management & Documentation
- Understand and maintain client SOPs and CIFs in PaT.
- Track and follow up all internal/external KPIs within agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate records to support invoicing and KPI reporting.
Systems, Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Embrace SCF’s system-led operating environment.
- Use low-level problem-solving (5 Whys thinking) when resolving customer or process challenges.
- Support a positive, team-based culture that focuses on high performance and improvement.
Training & Development
- Complete at least one hour of structured training per week.
- Support and uphold SCF philosophies and standards.
Reporting & Strategy Delivery
- Co-ordinate customer reporting and ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Deliver consistently against PAR Result Areas.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 1 year Customer Service experience (3PL preferred).
- Strong communication and professional articulation skills.
- Commitment to follow-through and deadline management.
- Intermediate Excel skills or ability to scope requirements.
- Accountability and readiness to use SCF policies such as Put Your Hand Up and the Escalation Policy.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
