Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, soil preparation, and installation of landscape features.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation and hardscape installation.
• Maintain lawns through fertilization, aeration, weed control, and irrigation system management to promote healthy growth.
• Install and repair hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal with proper techniques to ensure safety and health.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties year-round.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating various landscaping equipment and tools.
• Expertise in lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture principles.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery including excavators and snow plows safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to ensure efficient watering solutions.
• Experience with tree care techniques such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal for healthy growth.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to hardscape projects like patios or retaining walls.
