Duties
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf
- Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like pathways and patios
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, trimming, pruning, and general landscape installation
- Use equipment such as excavators and snow plows to prepare sites and manage seasonal maintenance tasks
- Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, planting, and health assessments to promote safety and growth.
- Assist with construction projects involving hardscape features.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools
- Experience with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening practices, and plant health management
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping machinery safely
- Familiarity with tree care including trimming and pruning techniques
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Prior experience in snow plowing or winter landscape services is a plus
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
