Driver CDL A, Regional Driver

*OVERTIME AFTER 40 HOURS*

PER DIEM - QUARTERLY BONUSES

$35/hr. bonuses

Accrue vacation time of 2 weeks from first day of employment

What You'll be Doing:

• Overnights required as business demands - hotel, no sleeper cabs - (typically 0-4 nights per month)
• Identify maintenance needs for any and all vehicle units, to be reported into transportation electronic platform (SAMSARA) and management; required to perform minor maintenances as needed
• Load/unload tankers at pickup points. Employees of vendors will unload product
• Completing necessary documents for shipment, including but not limited to Sales Order Bills of Lading, Transfer Logs, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe operating environment compliant with OSHA and all applicable standards

What You'll Need: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum of 2 years’ job-related experience (preferred)
• Valid CDL A Driver’s License (required)
• Must be able to drive manual and automatic
• Valid Tanker Endorsement (required)
• Valid Hazmat Endorsement (preferred)
• Must be able to travel commercial vehicles to and from Canada

Qualities We're Looking For:

• Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal traffic regulations
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures including pre-trip and post trip inspections
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to transporting goods and awareness of emergency procedures in case of accidents or breakdowns
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
• Strong time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules
• Professionalism in representing the company to customers.
