*OVERTIME AFTER 40 HOURS*
PER DIEM - QUARTERLY BONUSES
$35/hr. bonuses
Accrue vacation time of 2 weeks from first day of employment
Benefits effective first of the month following date of hire
What You'll be Doing:
- Overnights required as business demands - hotel, no sleeper cabs - (typically 0-4 nights per month)
- Identify maintenance needs for any and all vehicle units, to be reported into transportation electronic platform (SAMSARA) and management; required to perform minor maintenances as needed
- Load/unload tankers at pickup points. Employees of vendors will unload product
- Completing necessary documents for shipment, including but not limited to Sales Order Bills of Lading, Transfer Logs, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe operating environment compliant with OSHA and all applicable standards
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum of 2 years’ job-related experience (preferred)
- Valid CDL A Driver’s License (required)
- Must be able to drive manual and automatic
- Valid Tanker Endorsement (required)
- Valid Hazmat Endorsement (preferred)
- Must be able to travel commercial vehicles to and from Canada
Qualities We're Looking For:
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal traffic regulations
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures including pre-trip and post trip inspections
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to transporting goods and awareness of emergency procedures in case of accidents or breakdowns
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
- Strong time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules
- Professionalism in representing the company to customers.
Salary : $35
