Summary: As the Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive prompt, professional, and knowledgeable support. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding service by assisting customers with inquiries, processing orders, providing product information and resolving customer concerns to provide solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, and email in a timely and professional manner
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Provide customers with information about our products, services, and pricing
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Assist customers with order placements, modifications, and cancellations
- Scheduling deliveries and pickups with customers
- Arrange freight with pre-approved suppliers
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and how to improve services
- Stay updated on product knowledge, and company policies to provide informed support to customers
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing customer experience
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance customer service skills
- Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- One (1) to three (3) years of customer service or related experience (required)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed:
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
