What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customs Coordinator position at Sunset Transportation LLC?
About the Role:
Sunset Transportation is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our team. You will work closely with the accounting department in Laredo Branch, and handle highly critical financial data for the company and our customers. You will become an expert in our operating system, review customer orders, create bills for Sunset customers, and process carrier invoices for payment.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to all customers
Review documentation for orders and document relevant information
Verify carrier charges and pay to information
Understand and follow customer specific billing requirements
Ensure that all required backup documentation for invoices are received
Index and correctly categorize images into the system
Work with other departments to resolve any invoicing issues
Contact carriers’ vendors via phone and email
What We’re Looking For:
1-3 years of experience in AP or billing/data entry role preferred
MS Office, Windows, and basic business software knowledge
Advanced Excel knowledge
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Open, honest, and professional communication abilities
