Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, purchases, and inquiries in a professional manner
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing the cash drawer at shift end
- Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Stock shelves, coolers, and display areas regularly to ensure product availability and attractive merchandising
- Conduct product demos when applicable, explaining features or benefits to encourage sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the station including pumps, store area, restrooms, and surrounding grounds
- Follow safety protocols during fueling operations and handle any emergency situations promptly
Experience
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is advantageous
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers
