The Opportunity
Sunflower Communities is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across multiple assisted living and memory care communities. This role is built for a true producer—someone who thrives on outbound activity, navigating gatekeepers, building trust, and closing referrals. What You’ll Do
- Prospect, hunt, and develop new referral relationships across healthcare and senior living networks.
- Build strong partnerships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, Directors of Nursing, and Executive Directors.
- Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and follow-ups across your assigned territory.
- Guide families and referral partners through the admissions process with clarity, urgency, and compassion.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and actively close move-ins.
- Represent Sunflower Communities professionally at networking events, community meetings, and referral touchpoints.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in outside sales, healthcare sales, senior housing sales, or referral-based business development.
- Strong hunter mentality with comfort navigating gatekeepers and initiating cold and warm outreach.
- Confidence holding conversations with clinical leaders, administrators, business owners, and decision-makers.
- Ability to manage a large geographic territory and drive extensively throughout Minnesota.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable to activity and results.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
Preferred Backgrounds
- Assisted living or memory care sales.
- Healthcare, home care, hospice, or senior services business development.
- Medical device, pharmaceutical, or referral-driven healthcare sales.
