About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Warehouse Order Picking & Shipping I to join our growing warehouse operations team in Carlsbad, CA.
In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting golf club assembly and fulfillment operations by accurately picking, kitting, packing, and shipping products for both stock and custom orders.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, have strong attention to detail, and take pride in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and organization throughout the fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking & Kitting
- Manage production work orders from print through pick confirmation.
- Print and organize work orders through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Sort and prioritize orders to optimize workflow efficiency, including stock orders, custom builds, single clubs, sets, and raw material requests.
- Accurately pick, retrieve, and kit components required for production orders.
- Verify picked materials against Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy.
- Complete pick and pick-confirmation transactions within the WMS.
Raw Material Fulfillment
- Pick and kit raw material orders according to order specifications.
- Verify quantities and component accuracy against BOM requirements.
- Process pick confirmations in the WMS.
- Package raw material orders securely to ensure safe shipment to customers.
Shipping & Logistics Support
- Assist with preparing, packaging, and labeling shipments for outbound orders.
- Support daily shipping operations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Ensure all shipments meet quality and transportation standards.
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Maintain inventory accuracy by picking materials from designated warehouse locations.
- Follow proper inventory disposition procedures, including scrap tracking and reporting.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock movements, replenishment activities, and inventory audits.
- Keep warehouse locations organized, clean, and safe.
- Maintain clear aisles and workspaces in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with stocking supplies and consumable materials as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 6 months of warehouse, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, or related experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), warehouse locations, and component part numbers.
- Ability to accurately match part numbers and quantities to production orders.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to meet productivity, accuracy, and cycle-time performance goals.
Preferred
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with shipping systems and warehouse technology.
- Experience using spreadsheets and database tools.
- Knowledge of golf products, golf club components, or sporting goods manufacturing environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and operational activity.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
