Job Title: AP Coordinator – ERP
Location: Hybrid – Minnetonka, Minnesota 55343
Pay Rate: $35 – $38 per hour
Duration: 18-Week Contract
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to support the accurate and timely processing of invoices within a dynamic finance environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient accounts payable operations, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage department mail distribution and scan/route invoices for coding and approval
- Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and on time
- Research and resolve past-due balances, discrepancies, or payment disputes
- Identify opportunities to streamline Accounts Payable processes and improve efficiency
- Continuously develop knowledge and expertise in Accounts Payable operations
- Assist with system testing as required
- Support additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience with a high school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset with a professional and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with ReQlogic, Great Plains, Epicor, and Microsoft Office applications
Work Environment
- Primarily desk-based role requiring extended periods working on a computer
- Regular use of phone and office systems
- Occasional walking and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs may be required
- Work environment typically has low to moderate noise levels
Travel
- Occasional travel may be required (up to 5%)
