Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Hybrid – Draper, UT
Pay Rate: $60–$70/hour (W2)
Duration: Contract
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee critical accounting operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a strong technical accounting background, leadership capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Review key reconciliations, rollforwards, and general ledger activities
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and company policies
- Perform analytical reviews of financial results and investigate variances
- Ensure account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain and improve documentation of accounting procedures and controls
- Support internal and external audit processes and coordinate with auditors
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce close timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of accounting experience in Big 4 and/or public companies (Tech industry preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- CPA certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite
- Experience with BlackLine
