Job Description

KNS is seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to join our team! We want a candidate that thrives in a high growth environment and has a demonstrated track record of successful people and project management and implementation of process improvements that scale to future growth. The ideal candidate will also have a comprehensive accounting background.

• Manage and develop accounting team including performance reviews, regular 1 on 1s, trainings, mentoring, coaching, support, goals, constructive feedback, and other items to help elevate and improve performance.
• Manage and oversee the successful completion of Month Close and all team month-end tasks/responsibilities
• Reconcile all general ledger balance sheet accounts to supporting details
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable teams
• Oversee weekly payables and sending of payments to vendors
• Work with FP&A on cash flows and cash forecasting
• Assist with Purchase Orders in NetSuite
• Financial analysis at month end to explain variances
• Oversee sales tax accuracy and reporting
• Oversee supply chain accuracy and process as it relates to accounting
• Monitor customer balances and credit risk and alert management of findings
• Manage and assist in interim and annual audit
• Assist in Technical Accounting research
• Help establish policies and procedures for the Accounting department
• Special projects as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

We seek employees who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field required; MAcc, CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of related accounting experience required
• 2 years of Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
• Strong accounting foundation and understanding of US GAAP
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software a plus
• Experience with sales tax is a plus
• Proven experience managing and supervising a team
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Team player both in attitude and actions
• Proven record of meeting deadlines and accomplishing tasks
• Extremely detail oriented, accurate and organized
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven track record for creating process efficiencies and solving problems
• Takes ownership and accountability of responsibilities

Location: Draper, UT — Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently local

Work Schedule: Hybrid role with in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
