About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who is great at multi-tasking and enjoys providing excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor a daily report and queued actions to track and prioritize disbursements.
  • Review expected disbursements ahead of time to prevent monetary loss for any parties as well as obtain any missing items required for disbursement by coordinating with the appropriate parties, including invoices or disbursement instructions.
  • Review signed closing packages for completeness and accuracy.
  • Heavily communicate updates, delays, and other information to all parties to the transaction (e.g., lenders, borrowers, notaries) and provide consistent updates until resolution is met.
  • Resolve issues that will delay disbursement by communicating directly with borrowers, notaries, and lenders.
  • Balance fees and figures between closing documents and our system of record.
  • Calculate and research interest, property tax, payoff, recording fee, and other third-party payment status and amounts.
  • Schedule notaries/attorneys based on requested signing details.
  • Verify customer identification to protect sensitive information.
  • Provide updates and information to clients proactively and upon request.
  • Reach out to lenders and third-party companies for missing invoices necessary for funding.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to collect funds due and to address questions/concerns about their disbursement process.
  • Communicate with lenders via phone and email to discuss the disbursement process.
  • Mail checks to third parties.
  • Work cohesively with the Escrow team to resolve any disbursement discrepancies and disbursement delays.
  • Liaise with other departments and third parties in order to coordinate effectively.
  • Complete tasks and respond to emails / phone calls in adherence with Company and Department SLS (Service Level Standards).
  • Ensure that all state specific compliance requirements/processes are met and adhered to.
  • Manage varying client expectations and requirements.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

  • Capable of tactfully handling high-pressure customer service situations
  • Associate's degree (or higher) required
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours when necessary
